Taylor 2013 Service Training Schedule

Overview

Sudden Service training classes offer a detailed analysis and study of all electrical, hydraulic, and air circuits employed on a particular truck models being instructed. Additionally, the engine, transmission, drive and steer axles are covered, as well as all basic preventive maintenance. The most complex issues (electrical and hydraulic) are fully covered in any school allowing the student to learn or better understand the most difficult systems.

Each student will receive a complete set of schematics for the Taylor models being instructed. In addition to the sett of schematics, each student will receive a CD-ROM with a maintenance manual as well as other pertinent training information. Students with laptop computers are welcome to bring laptops with them to preview the CD-ROM during class; however, electrical outlets are limited. The battery will need to be fully charged before the beginning of each day of class.

In addition to the enrollment fee, each student will be responsible for travel to and from Taylor Machine Works, Inc. as well as the cost of their hotel room.

Charges for attending training classes conducted at Taylor Machine Works/Sudden Service are as follows:

For students attending classes at Taylor Machine Works - Louisville, MS, a block of rooms will be reserved at Lake Tiak-O'Khata for students beginning with the Monday night before each class. Taylor will provide each student with three (3) meals a day free of charge (excluding dinner on Monday night & lunch on Thursday). Each class begins promptly at 7 a.m. on Tuesday with breakfast at Lake Tiak-O'Khata restaurant and will last for two and one half (2-1/2) days with dismissal at 12 noon on Thursday. Travel arrangements should be made accordingly.

A reminder of dates will be mailed in ample time before each class.

Anyone desiring a training class on a particular Taylor product not scheduled below, should contact the training coordinator.

Classes have a maximum of 15 people per class. Enrollment is handled on a
first-come-first-served basis. Reserve your spot as soon as posible.

Advanced TICS Training*

* This class is an advanced trouble-shooting class for the TICS system. A prerequisite of previously attending any service school for any Taylor model with the TICS (Taylor Integrated Control System) is required. This class will be hands on diagnostic training on the inputs, outputs, display, modules, and CAN-bus lines. This class will train the student with the proper technique to troubleshoot the TICS system.

** Taylor model to be instructed will be determined at a later date based on requests and/or when maintenance manuals are completed for new series machines. A notice will be sent by e-mail and will be posted on Sudden Service's website (www.suddenserviceinc.com). Ample notice will be given for enrollment and to make travel arrangements.
